Delegation trip to Germany for Canadian buyers and multipliers in the field of metal processing and fabrication, including precision tools and specialized equipment
In cooperation with project partner enviacon international, and on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action, we are organizing a delegation trip to Germany for Canadian buyers and multipliers in the field of metal processing and fabrication, including precision tools and specialized equipment from March 30th to April 4th in Hannover, Dresden and Leipzig.
Germany is a leading player in the metal industry, with over 228,000 employees and annual revenue (2023) of more than 125.68 billion euros. This revenue is generated both domestically and internationally, reflecting a strong balance within the industry. Germany's metal exports represented a considerable value in 2023, highlighting the industry's important role in global trade. The steel and metal processing fields are among the ten largest sectors in Germany, particularly characterized by a high proportion of SMEs.
With strong domestic demand, rising international exports, and a focus on continuous innovation, Germany remains a leading destination for companies seeking innovative solutions in metal fabrication and high-precision manufacturing.
The trip aims to introduce Canadian companies to the German metal industry, renowned for its innovation and quality. Participants will have the opportunity to explore advanced solutions and technologies, gaining exclusive access to modern production facilities and industry experts.
This mission also offers a chance to expand networks and build lasting relationships with leading German companies in a forward-looking industry.
