In collaboration with Enviacon International and on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action, we will conduct a business delegation for german companies in the field of training and education with a focus on wind power and hydrogen to the provinces of Ontario and Nova Scotia from November 4 to 8, 2024.

Canada is already one of the world's leading hydrogen producers, with an annual production of approximately 3 million tons. Canada’s wind, solar, and energy storage sector grew by over 11.2 percent last year. With approximately 4,950 employees in 2023, this sector experienced an 11 percent increase compared to the previous year.

Ontario’s installed renewable energy capacity is the largest in Canada at over 7.5 GW, with further increases expected. In the province of Nova Scotia, there is currently a significant shift in wind energy, driven by the excellent wind capacities in Atlantic Canada.

During the business trip in the provinces of Ontario and Nova Scotia, participating companies can establish personal contacts, attend individually arranged business meetings with Canadian companies from relevant industries, review new products and solutions, and develop collaboration opportunities. In addition to bilateral discussions and company visits, we are organizing a conference where participating companies will have the opportunity to present themselves to a professional audience and attend networking events.
