Dear readers,

Unprecedented challenges can bring about new opportunities.

As Canada continues to seek deeper partnerships with partners beyond the US, its transatlantic cooperation with Germany is moving at full throttle this summer, with Prime Minister Carney meeting Chancellor Merz for an in-depth discussion on bilateral issues, and formal contract negotiations with TKMS now underway.

This desire to connect and build together was on full display at our annual member summer reception, filled with opportunities to catch up and look ahead. The Canadian-German dialogue has also played out on the ground as we make our way across the country on our nationwide member tour - capturing real-time industry priorities and insights while taking in Canada's geographic and economic diversity.

Next up: ALL IN, with Germany as Country of Honor, is just around the corner - the start of a busy and exciting fall. Dive into this month's insights!

Warm regards,
Yvonne Denz and the CGCIC team
