The start to this summer has been anything but quiet for Canadian-German relations - and we couldn't be more excited.
The announcement that the Canadian government has selected the German-Norwegian submarine bid marks major momentum in German-Canadian economic relations - an opportunity that will further strengthen bilateral trade, investment, and industrial cooperation.
With Canada and Germany's leaders now moving toward a Strategic Partnership Agreement in several areas of mutual strength, paving the way for even closer collaboration ahead, the outlook for transatlantic business has rarely looked brighter.
The summer also has us on the road with our member tour, visiting stakeholders and partners across the country to get a firsthand pulse of the transatlantic business community; and with Summerfest just around the corner, we can't wait to reconnect with our members in this beautiful weather.
