Great news for the Canada-Germany Hydrogen Alliance
On February 7, 2023 the Honourable Timothy Halman, Minister of Environment and Climate Change of Nova Scotia, issued Environmental Approval for the initial phase of a CAD 6 billion green hydrogen and green ammonia project located in Point Tupper, Nova Scotia.
The project by EverWind Fuels aims to start production of green ammonia for German off-takers E.ON and Uniper in 2025.
Germany and Canada concluded the Canada-Germany Hydrogen Alliance in August 2022.
