Gowling WLG has opened a new office in Germany with a launch in Frankfurt. The Frankfurt team will become an integral part of Gowling WLG's global Corporate, Finance and Tax, and Real Estate practice groups. They will focus on corporate activities, mergers and acquisitions, and capital markets, including equity capital markets, private equity, and venture capital, as well as real estate. Gowling WLG is an international, sector-focused law firm with more than 1,500 legal professionals worldwide in cities across Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Asia.
Siemens, together with their partner, NB Power, received a Canada’s Clean50 Top Project Award for the Shediac Smart Energy Community Project. This recognition celebrates initiatives that showcase the potential of a low-carbon economy and highlights Siemens’ and NB Power’s commitment to sustainable energy innovation. The Shediac Smart Energy Community Project, part of the Smart Grid Atlantic Project, has successfully developed a futuristic grid using real-life assets within smart energy communities, serving as a model for achieving an efficient and cost-effective energy transition.
