June 25-30: In collaboration with the Wirtschaftsförderung Sachsen GmbH, CGCIC is organizing a business delegation to Toronto, Canada and Boston, USA in the fields of Lifescience, Pharma and Biotechnology. The delegation aims to generate meaningful business contacts and to inform participating Saxon companies about the Canadian and American markets. Read more (in German)

September 18-22: The Canadian German Chamber of Industry and Commerce, supported by German and Canadian industry partners, is organizing a business delegation focussing on Canada’s maritime industry. Read more (in German)

June 27: The Canadian German Chamber together with IHK Bremen are organizing a Breakfast panel  to present the opportunities the free trade agreement CETA will create for companies in Bremen. For more information please click here. (in German)

July 5: The IHK München together with the Canadian German Chamber is hosting the "Sommergespräch Kanada 2017" at Palmenhaus Schloss Nymphenburg. A panel of high ranking industry experts will discuss market opportunities in Canada, the free trade agreement CETA as well as the impacts of the renegotiations of NAFTA on Canada. Past Events

April 27:  Guests gathered at the LUMAS Gallery in Yorkville to celebrate the cultural exchange between Germany and Canada with local food, wine tasting and an exhibit talk by Curator and Gallery Director, Melanie Trojkovic. Read more

May 9: The Canadian German Chamber, with support of Global Public Affairs and the German Embassy, hosted the second event of CGCIC’s Speaker Series at the offices of Kuehne + Nagel Canada. The evening featured a panel discussion on the implications of U.S. President Trumps actions, next steps for NAFTA and CETA and the trade relations in the triangle between Canada, Germany and the US. CGCIC Farewell event for Robert Hardt, Toronto

May 25: The Canadian German Chamber bid farewell to the outgoing Chairman of the Board of Directors Robert Hardt. Robert’s contribution to the Chamber and the Canadian German business community were much appreciated and his strong leadership and initiative will be missed. Board and management send him off the best wishes for a bright successful future back in Germany.
